History of Cornhole...the beginning
Hi. I’m Silas Weber. I’m 9 and I like to talk about corn hole. I really like to play cornhole. The history of Cornhole is somewhat unclear. Corn hole is also known as bean bag toss game. While other games and sports have well documented pasts, Cornhole does not. It is a game that most likely originated in the midwest, specifically OHIO. Cornhole started as a game played on farms during the downtime. Farmers made some type of board with a hole and filled bags with whole kernel corn. And like today, players tossed the bags at the platforms trying to land on the platform or in the hole.
The cornhole game, over time, became popular. The game spread throughout the midwest. Now, you would find Bean bag toss game at fairs, picnics, churches, back yards, farms and other social events. The game began to evolve and spread nationally. In the 1990’s Cornhole got national recognition. Thanks for reading my article on the history of cornhole.
Here I, Silas Weber, am winning a tournament. I am wearing a custom jersey. Throwing custom bags. Using pro-grade boards.
