Hummus
Sometimes I get tired of Alpha Refried Beans. And, I realize not everyone likes refried beans. Here is an alternative. Hummus is great on its own, for a snack or in a Alpha Power Bowl. This recipe is very simple. I use the ingredients that I already have in the house. I don’t have tahini on hand, so I have replaced it with Guacamole. The olive oil and avacado give this a perfect amount of healthy fats. This is a great Hummus Recipe or make your Alpha Power Bowl with Hummus.
Power Bowl
Alpha Power Bowl has become my favorite meal while following the Lion Diet. I love cheese. I love sour cream. It doesn’t need any of that. For lunch I usually make tacos. I have a bowl for dinner. I rotate meats between Taco Meat, Chicken, Pork, Steak, whatever. Just wait, the yolks run down through it all and makes it saucy and unctuous.

Egg Salad
When Ethan went to college and I was visiting him for the first time, I asked what food he wanted me to bring. Ironically, I had already made it, because I knew his answer. It was Alpha Egg Salad. For him, I add sliced Red Beets. 🙂
This is a monthly staple at our house. Inexpensive, Convenient, Sweet, Heat, Creamy. Combination of Eggs, Pickled Red Beet Eggs, Sweet Thai Chili Tuna and fermented carrots for a delicious sandwich salad. This tasty treat is loaded with Protein, Fat, Good Cholesterol and Fermented Goodness. My kids love it on some low carb bread. I enjoy mine in a Keto soft taco shell.
This is a true game changer for egg fans. Eggs are highly nutritional including all the essential amino acids. I consider them a super food. Think about it. An egg has everything in it to sustain life. Try this egg salad straight up on a spoon, over a bed of lettuce, in a romaine leaf. I’ve never had a better egg salad.

Alpha 4 Ingredient Cheesecake is the dessert we dream about. Like any cheesecake, you can swirl in some sugar free jelly or fresh fruit before baking. You can also use any flavor combination of Greek Yogurt and Protein Powder. And, after baking you can top it with any Fruit, Jellies or toppings of your choice. Pizza
Alpha Chicken Pizza Crust brings protein to the max! lol It is super easy. Open a can and mix with a fork. I get really hungry for pizza sometimes. This scratches my itch. Top it however you like. Pepperoni is great. Rachel has me into a dollop of Ricotta. Don’t knock it ’til you try it. I’m working on a thick crust that is like bread and very high protein. Wish me luck!
This pizza is perfect for the Lion Diet because it is a low Glycemic Index Food. Enjoy without the Glucose Spike. Guilt Free! Keep calories down by going light on the cheese topping. I used a cup. Replace beef with veggies.

No Rice Rice Pudding
This is the easiest high-protein meal/snack/side. The Alpha Rice Pudding only requires you to mix together 3 ingredients. The Macros are great. The taste is great. And, you can mix and match lots of flavors. I use Vanilla Protein Powder and Plain Greek Yogurt. But, you can mix Strawberry Greek Yogurt with Chocolate Protein Powder. You can add nuts if you need some healthy fats for the day. Top this however you like. When I need something quick…this is my go to.
No mess. No Fuss. I mix this in the same bowl I eat it in. I mix it with the same spoon I eat it with. So, no cooking, very little clean up. It is a delicious Snack, Side or Quick Meal.
Healthy Mayonnaise
I like to keep a healthy mayonnaise around. We do not eat many sandwiches, but I do make my own ranch . My home made Mayonnaise has no soy bean oil or other seed oils and is very easy to make. This allows us to make a home made healthy Ranch as well. When we have big meals with family, I will bake casseroles and use the healthy mayonnaise as an ingredient. We like almost any excuse to add Olive Oil to anything that we are eating.
