The Lion Diet (Macro Nutrition)
The Alpha Lifestyle starts with diet. You cannot outwork a bad diet. My philosophy is to eat the protein and fats that our bodies need and supplement for vitamins and minerals. Today’s veggies are not as nutrient rich as 50 years ago. Many modern farming techniques include using pesticides. The poison finds its way into the food and soil. I use veggies like spices. I cook with veggies and herbs to enhance flavors.
The Lion does not eat 3 squares a day. The lion eats when he is hungry enough to kill. During the hunger gaps, the lion’s body is naturally increasing testosterone and HGH to preserve muscle. His cells are consuming the weak and damaged cells. Then, the lion eats large amounts of protein.
The Lion Diet consists of intermittent fasting and longer fasting strategies, multivitamin supplements, eating foods high in protein and some optional methods. There is a “Cut Weight” Cycle and a “Maintain Weight” Cycle.
These are my diets of choice. With these plans, I can lose the fat and keep the skeletal muscle mass. If you choose a different eating program, just be sure to follow it. There is more than one way to skin this “Big Cat”.
Interestingly; fasting, meal prepping and not eating at restaurants has saved me about 50% $$ of what I used to spend on food. And, the quality is up exponentially. I’ve traded in Chinese buffets for chicken and beef tacos on keto tortillas with fermented salsa and guac. Don’t feel sorry for me! YUM!!

We need to be proactive with our nutrition. Our body’s systems are very complex and 1 slight deficiency can cause a ripple effect in the human body. In all fairness to doctors, it is hard to pinpoint the exact cause. Our responsibility for ourselves….Control the controllables. Take the Multivitamin. Eat healthy food. Get Sunlight. Move your body.
Vitamins and minerals are essential nutrients. They play critical roles in the human body, supporting numerous physiological functions. While we only need small amounts compared to nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins and fats, their importance can not be overstated.

Water-Soluble Vitamins are not stored in the body. They are easily passed through in urine. They need to be consumed regularly through diet. These vitamins play roles in energy production, immune function, nerve transmission, and methylation and synthesis of various molecules essential for cellular function. For Example, vitamin C is involved in collagen synthesis, wound healing and antioxidant defense. B vitamins are important for energy metabolism and nervous system functions.

Vitamins and minerals are necessary for your well-being. Often they work together with enzymes in biochemical functions all over the body.
Resistance Training
We recommend resistance training. It is easy to do anywhere. The best case scenario is that you can join a gym and also have access to an ice bath and sauna. If you are on a tight budget, spend your money on multivitamins and do home workouts with what you have. Your own body weight is all you need for an intense at home workout.
Do not skip this. Resistance training is an essential part of the Alpha Lifestyle. The only way to build muscle is to tear it down. The only way to have hard bones is to put a load on them. But, exercise is also great for stress reduction. You’ll have a stronger heart. You’ll burn calories all day long as body repairs itself through protein muscle synthesis. Your confidence level will sky rocket. You will feel good. If you’re at a gym, you’ll have a tribe of like-minded people.

Hydrogen Water
Hydrogen Water or Molecular Hydrogen Water is a biohack that has taken off in popularity. Water is essential for our bodies to function properly. Like all industries, there are fads within the water industry from time to time. Some are science driven and some are marketing driven. But, anything that convinces us to drink more water is beneficial to some degree.
What is interesting about hydrogen water is that there is already a ton of science behind this movement. Science has learned so much in the last 30 years about inflammation and human body physiology.
