3 Day Water Fasting
Water Fasting is a technique that has been used by people for centuries. It is no surprise that Fasting is a part of many religions. Once you have adapted your body to Fasting, you will experience the state of relaxation and concentration. You can feel the connection to your body, mind and soul. Water Fasting is great for your entire body and is widely regarded as a fat loss bio-hack. Water Fasting was once thought of as starvation. Now science has learned of all the benefits to fasting up to 72 hours. We are going to use Water Fasting as a part of the Lion Diet.
Alpha Living
We will Intermittent Water Fast daily (12-24 hours), Water Fast 24 hours once per week and 3 day Water Fast once per month. This article will give you the information and hopefully the motivation to incorporate fasting into your life. Alpha Living and Lion Diet are designed to burn fat and build muscle. If you follow the Lion Diet, you will move through the early stages of Fasting as quickly as possible, because your glucose levels will already be low. Thus, maximizing your efforts for the most beneficial results in the least amount of time. So, what is Water Fasting?
Water Fasting
Water Fasting is a type of fast where we consume no carbohydrates or calories for a predetermined amount of time. We drink a lot of water. It is a great time to enjoy a lot of Hydrogen Water. Coffee, Tea, Diet Drinks and dill pickles are also allowed to be consumed. However, no creamers or sugars with calories can be added.
Over time, your body will no longer be occupied with processing food. Fasting will prompt numerous processes to begin that are incredibly beneficial. Fat Burn, Ketones, HGH, Autophagy, Stem Cells Stimulation are examples. Our bodies are designed to be able to go weeks without food. We are interested in utilizing the 12-72 hours before muscle becomes a fuel source.
Multivitamin
The longer the fast, the more important water is. If you are following Alpha Living, you should be taking a good multivitamin like Youngevity’s multivitamin. If you aren’t, be aware you could become deficient in minerals like potassium and magnesium.

The Alpha Lifestyle recommends fasting 12-24 hours daily and 36-72 hours monthly. You can see what you want to do below and work your way up to that. Your brain is like another muscle. Hydration
Hydration is very important while fasting. You really need to supplement with electrolytes while doing fasts longer than 24 hours. My favorite protocol is to have a hydrogen water with Redmond’s Real Salt to start my day. Sea Salt has 60 different minerals, so it has a pink color to it. The Alpha Part
It can be hard. It is mind over matter. Your body could have addictions and cravings that are strong at times the first couple days. But, you will get passed those. I weighed 305. I was addicted to sugar. Grazing was an everyday occurrence for me. I still have to remind myself of the benefits of fasting. I still have to be aware of my grazing. But, I can do it. Therefore, YOU can do it. Everyday you get a feeling of accomplishment. Every morning you wake up with a mission. Live with purpose. Live on purpose.

Fast an hour longer each day until you hit your target and then maintain.
